Night at the Book Trailers: ‘Stitches’
I was trawling around on the internet this evening looking for a suitable video to post, when I stumbled across this ridiculously good book trailer for Stiches by David Small. Stitches was shortlisted for this year’s National Book Award, and if this trailer is merely a tease of what’s to be found in the book, I can see why. But, don’t take my word for it:
……
Despite what the trailer says, you can get yourself a copy of this book right now. This graphic memoir has been compared to Alison Bechdel’s Fun Home and Maus by Art Speigelman because of its “emotionally raw and compelling artistic content.” I wouldn’t wait too long to get yourself a copy. I won’t.
Here’s another, longer video of Stiches just in case you’d like to settle in for the long haul. It’s more than worth it, trust me:

I’ve read Stitches and you do need to get hold of a copy if you haven’t read it
